email cover letters

It happened one day in my class, a student asked a simple question about applying for a job: "do I use a cover letter as an attachment, or do I send an email cover letter?" I thought aboutt it, and concluded that sending the cover letter as a transmittal email, would be prudent. It would be in the employer's face, and help him/her decide quickly whether or not to read the resume attachment.

I wrote a few articles on this topic, and it seems that there's a hunger out there to assemble these electronic job search missives (complicated wording - try to avoid that online). I wrote a hub on hub pages and it is my most read piece to date with 700 hundred views. So, I give you more on the topic here.

We are living in the digital age, the age of impatience, where you have less than 30 seconds to get someone's attention. You need to get it right on screen before anyone clicks. I am learning this more and more each day as I participate in the online economy in various. So here is email cover letters.

I will mostly supply samples of email cover letters, and tips and tricks. Happy reading and stay tuned.
